Very sad to learn that incredible drummer and past interviewee Lee Kerslake, who brought so much life to the first two Ozzy albums in addition to his years with Uriah Heep, is battling terminal cancer and has only months to live. I'm equally sad to learn that a documentary on Lee's life has only received two percent of its crowdfunding goal with less than a week left. And I'm angry to learn that he is facing death basically penniless. I won't pass comment on why that is, but some people out there could very accurately guess the reasons behind that unfortunate reality.
Lee's a good man and a fellow soldier in music. I wish him well in his final days and thank him for his years of output and inspiration.
